Bombora villa 2

A unique stay hidden in the jungle of Santa Fe, Siargao island - away from the hustle of the city life. located 100 steps from white sandy beaches and surf spots, it is the perfect hideaway for all travellers.
The room is equipped with a King size bed. The villa is built for an optimal stay for 2, but can accommodate up to 4 guests by adding an extra queen size mattress.
The road to get to us is for the explorers. Make sure that you are comfortable to drive a motorbike or a scooter on dirt road.

The space

The experience at Bombora is unique and for the ones truly seeking calm, nature and to experience local authenticity.
The house has only one room and its own garden with a cosy outdoor space to relax. We have a fully equipped outdoor kitchen to allow you to cook your own meals.
To experience nature as its most, we built the bathroom partially outdoors: an amazing experience of hot showers under the banana trees and bathing in the middle of the garden, engulfed in peace and serenity. Being in the middle of wildlife, you may encounter jungle sounds at night, and the visit of some friendly bugs and insects as you may find everywhere else in the island.

Guest access

IMPORTANT
You decide to travel to a remote place between jungle and ocean.
The access road is a jungle dirt road with no street light at night. It becomes muddy with heavy rain. You will need to be comfortable riding a scooter / motorbike. If you need scooter rentals, let us know in advance so we can arrange it 🙂

The electricity on the island is limited, we sometimes have a few brown out but we have a GENERATOR we can turn on to make sure you’ll have electricity and running water if it happens.

Arriving at a holiday rental can be a bit of an adventure in itself. Navigating to the location, and letting yourself in using the key in the key safe and door can be exciting. Hotels, on the other hand, can feel less adventurous as you are welcomed by receptionists who hand you your door key.

We are all about the real local experience living in someone else’s home. It is a ‘home like’ experience in terms of service. You will arrive in a sparkling clean property with beds prepared and fresh towels and our manager can assist you through the chat but just remember we are not an hotel 🙂

We want you to know that we’re not your typical hotel – our main goal is to share the incredible beauty of our place with you. We’re here to help and answer any questions you may have, but please keep in mind that we don’t provide the usual hotel catering services. 🙂
